Fragile branches project

The imagery is a literal yet symbolic representation of the fragility of forest ecosystems.

Technical part: features organically-shaped objects that have been fractured and then simulated using rbd bullet solver in Houdini. The resulting pieces were then textured using various noises in Redshift renderer. The branches sourced from Quixel Megascans and transfered to Houdini via Bridge.

This project was showcased in JCDecaux’s '10sek' initiative in 2023, where selected works were broadcast on 73 digital screens across Vilnius.
