Fog-forest-folklore

This project was filmed in early autumn, capturing the mist rising over a lake. Two effects were applied: the first is a particle-based effect, creating a blurred, magical fire-like appearance; the second is a feedback-based, melting effect to enhance the fluid, mystical atmosphere. The idea was to evoke a sense of presence of unseen forces, like forest spirits or fairies, interacting with the natural world. 

Technical: The video footage was modulated in TouchDesigner, then color graded and rendered in After Effects.
